In March of 2016, LGBT issues frequently reported by media in China, such as the SARFT stepped up its censorship on entertainment shows related to LGBT and equate LGBT with sexual deviation. Regrettably, the majority did not oppose to those regulations, which prompted me to work on a project to show current Chinese LGBT living conditions.
The lives of LGBT are forced to live in shadow, which is similar to lots of past moments, such as America 70 years ago. My work hopes to overlap current moments with the past and connect people and time-space relations.
